I'm having a problem with a client's contact form. He is not computer knowledgeable and I am having difficulty getting his email address confirmed so that responses can come to HIS email not mine. I tried to do it for him and it wouldn't let me because my name doesn't match his email. I can't go to his computer to do it because he lives across the country from me. I can't seem to explain to him how to confirm his address. He thought he had gotten it correct but it's not working. Any suggestions? |

First off, I hope that you are not a web developer using our forms on one of your client's website. This is a violation of our terms of service and will lead to your account being suspended.
Other than that, there really isn't anything you can do. The confirmation always goes to the e-mail address being confirmed (thats the point of it) and the instructions are pretty simple and straight forward. I would suggest that you just have him forward the confirmation e-mail to you and then you can verify it.
Thanks,
Nick Ladd

Thanks for the help. I am a web designer and site host, but am NOT the designer for this client, only the server host. I am just helping him get it set up. Someone else designed the site. Does that count against me? If so, I will not use the script on his site and will do something else. I figured since I was not the designer for his site, it would be ok. Please let me know if that is wrong. Thanks |
