I'm new at this. I'm trying to add a contact form to my Cafe Press shop, well, actually to a section of my shop. So I put the code in the Section Information section (I hope there are some CPers out there to whom this makes sense). I thought I had it working, but then I started getting the error message about putting the wrong URL in my contact form setup. So I change it to match what the error message says, but no go. I think it only happens when I'm testing one of the error conditions. In other words, it works when the form is filled out as requested, and the email is sent to my box, and everything's groovy. But then when I test leaving one of the fields out, I get the error. Sometimes, I've noticed, the correct error message to my user shows up along with the myContactForm.com error message.
Huh?? If that makes sense, please help! Thanks! |

I can't help you unless you post your username and the url of the form. Please read the posting rules.
Thanks,

My ContactForm.com user name: k8hayes
Web location of form: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/members/products/index.aspx?s=791117
Name of form: k8co!RequestsNametag
I did see one other question in this topic that is very close to mine, but not quite the same. I too am getting this error message when sending, telling me to change the address. I then change the address as it says and then get another error message, telling me to change the address back to the one I had in the first place. However, I am not putting the same code in two different places; I'm fixing the code per the instructions and then putting the corrected code back in the same place.
Here is a copy of the conflicting messages I receive:
This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. If you are the owner of this form you need to ensure that the 'Form Location' is specified as http://www.cafepress.com/cp/store.aspx?s=k8hayes.791117&nocache=yes&ispreview=1. You had it specified as being http://www.cafepress.com/k8hayes/791117. To change this, login to the site, click 'edit' next to the form's name, and then click the 'Basic Information' link to change the form's location.

I'm sorry, but I cannot get to the page in question because I do not have a cafepress login. Looking at the urls though, I am guessing that all of the various variables being declared in the url string are screwing up form. I don't think that there is anything that can be done to solve this.
Thanks,
Nick Ladd
