created new employment application, no matter what format I input it, the phone number field will not take. I keep getting the error message that I have not inputted the phone number[/code]

Try deleting the field from the form and then recreating it in the admin panel.

Thanks, tried it, even deleted both phone and cell and recreated it....still gives the same error code.

What is the URL of the form so I may test? You may also try creating a new form from scratch.
